We charge a flat $24.95 per stamp, plus HST, for every service we offer. No tiers, no rush fees, no surprises at the counter. The price you see is the price you pay. If more than one person is signing, an additional signer fee also applies.
How it adds up
A stamp is one notarial act — one signature we witness, or one oath we commission. One document signed by one person is a single stamp at $24.95. Each additional document is charged separately, and if more than one person signs, an additional signer fee also applies — including a second signer on the same document. That is the whole formula.
Examples only. Ontario HST of 13% is added at payment.
Signed in person
These three documents must be signed in person, so they are not charged per stamp. Each is a flat $115 plus HST, and that already covers the affidavit of execution and one witness supplied by the notary. Each document is its own $115 — a will signed together with a power of attorney is $230 plus HST.
A mobile visit adds a flat $60 travel fee, charged once for the trip.
Ontario HST of 13% is added on top. We witness and seal these documents; we do not draft them or advise on what powers to grant.

No. We charge per stamp, meaning one notarial seal and signature, not per page. A multi-page affidavit that is sworn once is a single stamp.
Yes. The first signer is included, and each additional person who signs is charged as one more stamp — $24.95 plus HST per additional signer. For example, one document signed by two people comes to $49.90 before HST. Your full total is always shown before you confirm.
The same flat $24.95 per stamp applies either way, and a mobile visit adds a flat $60 travel fee. That travel fee is charged once for the trip, no matter how many documents we sign while we are there.
A will and a power of attorney have to be signed in person, and each one is a flat $115 plus HST rather than a per-stamp charge. It is a package: the fee covers witnessing the signing, the witness we supply, and the affidavit of execution, so there is nothing further to add. Each document is its own $115: a will signed together with a power of attorney is $230 plus HST. An affidavit you come in to swear on its own is charged as an affidavit at the usual per-stamp rate.
Cash, debit, credit card, and e-transfer. You can pay when your document is notarized.
The same flat $24.95 per seal plus HST as any other document. An affidavit sworn once is one seal no matter how many pages it has, and an affidavit with attached exhibits adds a small per-exhibit fee, shown before you pay.
Most notarial services are a flat $24.95 per seal plus HST, whether you come to the Ottawa office, book a mobile visit, or sign online by video from anywhere in Ontario. There are no tiers, no per-page charges, and no rush fees. Wills and powers of attorney are in-person packages priced per document; see the breakdown below.
With Minute Notary it is a flat $24.95 per seal plus HST. Ontario residents anywhere in the province can commission affidavits and statutory declarations online by secure video under Ontario law (O. Reg. 431/20), so there is no travel cost for documents that can be done remotely.
