If you are getting a document ready, these cover the essentials: what it costs, what to bring, and when you actually need a notary.
Our pricing is flat: $19.90 for the first stamp or seal and $19.90 for each additional stamp, plus HST. The same rate applies to every service, with no rush fees and no document surcharges.
Please bring valid, government-issued photo identification, such as a passport, an Ontario driver’s licence, or an Ontario photo card. Bring the original documents you need notarized, along with any supporting paperwork the receiving organization has asked for.
A commissioner of oaths can administer oaths and take affidavits and declarations for use within Ontario. A notary public can do all of that and also certify true copies, witness signatures, and notarize documents intended for use outside Ontario or abroad. We act in both capacities.
It is not required by law, but the Government of Canada strongly recommends a consent letter whenever a child travels without both parents or guardians. Border officers and airlines may ask to see one, and notarizing the letter adds credibility. We prepare and notarize these letters while you wait.
